This 5-part course will provide you with the essential knowledge required of safeguarding, how to identify signs of abuse and other safeguarding issues, how to handle safeguarding disclosures, managing professional boundaries, and strategies for protecting your own and your colleagues physical and emotional wellbeing

Module 4: How to Protect Yourself and Colleagues in Aesthetic Practice

• Protect yourself and colleagues, including physical, digital, reputational safety and emotional wellbeing
• Key areas including physical safety protocols like PPE and sharps handling, navigating online interactions safely
• Protect yourself from accusations and strategies for managing emotional impacts arising from client interactions

Qualification information

On successful completion of all the modules, learners will receive the ‘Level 2 Award in Safeguarding Awareness for Cosmetic and Aesthetic Practitioners’. This is an OFQUAL Regulated qualification issued by ‘Gatehouse Awards (GA)’.

The Gatehouse Awards (GA) Registration Fee of £80.00 and the Skin College Processing (SCP) Fee of £20.00 are payable separately as they are VAT exempt. (Payable when you reach the final Module)
