Module 6 – How to Reduce the Risk of Transmission within the Workplace

• 6.1 Outline the signs, symptoms and transmission of Coronavirus/COVID-19
• 6.2 Outline the controls necessary to prevent the spread of Coronavirus/COVID-19
• 6.3 Outline the respiratory secretions and cough hygiene
• 6.4 Outline the methods of screening

Qualification information

On successful completion of all the modules, learners will receive the ‘Level 2 Award in the Prevention and Control of Infection’. This is an OFQUAL Regulated qualification issued by ‘Gatehouse Awards (GA)’.

The Gatehouse Awards (GA) Registration Fee of £40.00 and the Skin College Processing (SCP) Fee of £20.00 are payable separately as they are VAT exempt.

• In the final module you will be required to take an external e-assessment which is set and assessed by Gatehouse Awards
